My name is ADENIYI DAVID ADEYIGA, I was born and brought up in Sagamu local government with my families. I relocated to Lagos in the year 2000 to stay with my uncle. I believe in capturing moments as they happen. My style is natural and vibrant, I love capturing new memories, little ones as well as connections and relationships in families.
I never knew I will venture into photography although I have passions for it when I was a kid due to a pocket camera I possessed back then during analog period.
I started my career as a videographer which I learn from two of my church brothers (Jide & Muri), until one faithful day when I worked with a marketing company around Ikeja axis (GRA) in 2002. I was employed to market some products for them. In the process, I discovered that I can turn my passion for photography to my career aspiration. I was motivated by the actions of a certain photographer that normally comes around to take pictures and make money, while I was only playing with my own pocket camera. On the faithful day, I decided to go to photo lab to print some of the pictures I took and then I discovered some of my pictures came out nice and that gave me the boldness to demand some cash from some of my friends I snapped.
That's how DNY PHOTOGRAPHY all started.
The people around me back then supported my career as a photographer by patronizing and that really encourage me to push harder. It's a no gainsaying if I say no road to success comes on a plater of gold. I faced lots of challenges on my journey of becoming a professional photographer. I move close to some friends and bosses that engaged in both videography and photography to learn more from them. one of the biggest challenges I faced back then is renting gadgets to carry out my jobs; couple with insults and disappointment received.
One of my greatest achievement is the association I joined as far back as 2007. The association is called Video Film Producers Association of Nigeria. I was opportune to meet lots of videographers and photographers in the industry, who really helped in reshaping me into who I was today.
To the glory of God, I happen to be the sitting chairman of the same association till date.
